The Sbiotic capsules contain the prebiotic inulin and as a probiotic, lactic acid cultures in particular Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.

In a study from 2014 (Tremblay et al / British Journal of Nutrition / Vol. 111 / Issue 08 / April 2014 / pp. 1507-1519), women lost 1.8 kg more weight in 12 weeks if they also took a dietary supplement with Lactobacillus rhamnosus. After the diet, the women who ingested the lactic acid bacteria could not only keep their weight loss, they decreased even further. Overall, weight loss with Lactobacillus rhamnosus averaged 5.2 kilograms after 24 weeks – twice as much as in the placebo group.
